This corner lot on Spadina and Baldwin has been a rotted cavity for a decade at least. Whoever owns this lot seems to be waiting on the true end of Kensington Market before they plop a starbucks or something there. Kensington is slowly passing on, in the 15 or so years that I've known it, it's lost a lot of it's uniqueness and I'm sure older folks would say that 15 years ago it had already lost it's soul.
To hold out this long on this lot, they are playing the long game that most just are too impatient for. I hope the market crashes before they put shovel to ground and they lse thier shirts.
