this tree depressed the hell out of me. usually my fondness for nature busting forth from man's feeble heavy concrete arrogance gives me hope... this one... I dunno... it's squared off white planter and violently pruned limbs made it look like a prisoner of conscience of our tyrannical regime. Maybe I just needed a coffee.
